Who is your favorite, Tinkerbell or Betty Boop? Why?

I am an absolute fan of Tinkerbell. My mother is a fan of Betty Boop. We are curious to know who has the most fans. Though tinkerbell is a shapely fairy, she has a more innocent, sassy, flirty look to her. Tinkerbell is every personality rolled into one character which is why I love her so. I have 2 tinkerbell tattoos but my favorite is the one my 9 year old son drew for mother’s day this year. I took it to the tattoo shop and they transferred it right to my arm–identical. His drawing will stay with me always.

Now Betty Boop, looks a little to out there for me. Shows a little to much skin if you know what I mean. She is more for adults, we know men love her. But, to each their own. Tell me who your favorite is and why.

I like Betty Boop, but I also like singer Helen Kane, the model for Betty, better than Marilyn Monroe, who was the model for Disney’s Tinkerbelle. Betty was something of a flapper, but she was also very optomistic which is a nice characteristic. I also thought Tinkerbelle was a strange character, mainly because she wasn’t human and was often just outright mean.

I guess the issue boils down to personal preferences, but I far prefer Betty Boop.
